PSI Flash

PSI Flash is a PSI spell exclusive to Ness in Earthbound.

PSI Flash has the ability to make the enemy cry, feel strange, become numb, or even instantly destroy the enemy. PSI Flash has four levels: alpha, beta, gamma, and omega, with the probability of destroying the enemy becoming higher than before. For example, PSI Flash Ω has a very high chance of destroying the enemy instantly. The cost for these spells are low, as omega only needs 32 PP.

This is one of his moves in the Super Smash Bros. series. The English Voice of Ness pronounces it PK Cross though. It was originally going to be PSI Flash, but due to the Animation of PSI Flash's Speed, it was changed to PK Flash so he could get the move out in time, instead of it lingering on. It appears as a little green bolt flying up in the air, then doing some of the status effects it does in the Mother series.
