Brainshock

Brainshock is a recurring PSI spell found in all Mother games. It's main use is to cause Strangeness to the target(s).

Brainshock in Earthbound is learned only by Poo. There are two forms to this spell: Alpha (α) and Omega (Ω) Brainshock α induces Strangeness to one enemy, while Brainshock Ω causes Strangeness to all enemies. Brainshock is very useful in this game, as many enemies and bosses are weak to the spell.

Mother 3

Lucas is the sole user of Brainshock in Mother 3. It's use is the same as in Earthbound. It is less effective in this game, but still useful.
